Description:
Leukemia related to the nature of tumor diseases , the main feature of which is a malignant proliferation of cells of the hematopoietic tissue and the violation of their maturation. These include leukemia virus of cattle ( VLKRS ) causes significant economic damage to agriculture , which consists of killing and forced the slaughter of sick animals , loss offspring, reduced productivity , impaired reproduction processes in industrial breeding and animal husbandry. This disease is often registered in many countries , which makes the problem of tumor growth in a number of the most difficult problems not only in veterinary medicine , but medicine ( 5).
Leukemia and other malignant diseases of hematopoietic tissue together in groups hemoblastoses - one of the most pressing and urgent problems of modern oncology. Everywhere a growing number of patients with leukemia people, especially children, and farm and domestic animals. The disease occurs very difficult and , until recently , was considered incurable. Now there are encouraging results in the treatment of complex new methods , including immunotherapy . The animals at the forefront of prevention of leukemia (11).
Numerous publications and official veterinary statistical data shows that among the infectious diseases of cattle leukemia on the severity of organ damage , tissue mass displays and economic consequences occupies a leading place and is 57 % of the other nosology.
Many researchers believe that the problem of leukemia - the most intense point increase in our knowledge of the causes and mechanisms of tumor cell transformation and tumor development . Indeed obtained by deep research leukemic cell transformation data enrich biology fundamentally new provisions .
Widespread disease in many countries , the lack of specific therapy and prevention determine the relevance of the topic and put forward the problem of bovine leukemia in a number of challenges not only veterinary medicine, but also biology in general.
Viral Leukemia cattle ( VLKRS ) is now widespread in all subjects Ukraine . According to official statistics in Ukraine is more than three thousand disadvantaged items in bovine leukemia . Infection rate is 12 - 15% ( in some regions is much higher ), and the incidence of 3 - 4%. This epizootic situation persists for several years. Since 1997 , the disease has been ranked in the structure of infectious diseases (6).
Economic damage caused by leukemia livestock reaches a considerable size due to widespread illness, involuntary culling of case or sick animals , disposal of carcasses and organs with neoplastic changes of diagnostic and protivoleykoznyh measures, limitations of breeding stock and putting it on the meat , impaired breeding , etc.
The organization of prevention and fight against leukemia is crucial measures to protect flocks from importing animals from poor households on the condition , detection and creation of resistant leukemia lines, parent groups , families and herds of cattle with high performance. As previously prosperous herds viral infection occurs through contact with infected livestock imported from disadvantaged households but leukemia (12).
Leukemia to a large extent affected by high-performance breeds of cattle , such as black- spotted . Most of the young of these species sold for performance native animals that contribute to the spread of leukemia in previously prosperous economy.
In disadvantaged households on leukemia preserving a certain number of cows that are free from virus promotes continuous updating of animals. However, long-term maintenance of the common hematological patients and infected animals last number can reach 80-90 % ( 11).
This paper addresses the issue of the elimination of viral bovine leukemia in previously disadvantaged households SCG "The Internationale ," where through organized events , infection with leukemia in susceptible livestock fell from 87 % in 2011 to 3.7% in 2012.
The aim of the course is to analyze the effectiveness of measures to eliminate and prevent leukemia virus of cattle and their economic justification . The aim of the course is to develop practical proposals on farm prevention and prevention of further spread of viral leukemia in cattle.
